The felting technique certainly blends the other colours into the fur very naturally, its very effective.

Thanks, Yeah it does look nice and fluffy. I had to get as many 8mm sequins as I could in cat eye colours to go under the 6mm black sequin. Its how I originally wanted to do my cat's eyes but at that time couldn't find enough 8mm in the colours I wanted, but this time I found more about on Amazon so could do the eyes that way.
I'm quite tempted to try to scratch his ears!
He's deliciously fluffy.
