Help. Will I ever be able to do that. You'll certainly have your work cut out teaching me. lol. Are you sure you're up for I?. I love it! Blessings

Thanks, I am so excited to do it, its the only thing I think of at the moment. But am being good and resting between each session so as not to get stiff or too achy. Better to rest then make it so I can't do it. I was never this happy to do it in the past, I think its recovering the skill that did it, so many things I've failed on since mild stroke so winning on this has sparked me. Left arm is getting stronger too I hardly have to think of using it on bobbins now so its good therapy. Crafting is good for you. I suspect too it uses more calories too as there's more moving than in my other crafts, not much but a bit.

Lesley I'm not teaching you bobbin Lace but Kumihimo braid making its much simpler, You just weave the threads over a round pattern wheel. Its just a matter of exchanging threads across it the same all the way around the wheel, have a look on You tube for Kumihimo. Its easy.

Keep up the good work promoting bobbin lace as a craft! I love doing it too, and tatting!!

I love doing Lace, I'm halfway through my next piece of mixed colour at the moment its in blues and Mauve and Purple, I used 3 colour of sewing cotton and one strand of thin crochet cotton. It's Royal, light blue and Lilac sewing cotton and Purple thin crochet cotton. Its come out as a nice lavender colour in the Lace.

Can't Tat at all, tried several times but failed each time, I do do, Kumihimo braids though love doing those, always got a couple on the go. Hoping to make a necklace with a couple got going at the moment, just finished making a belt loop for my dressing gown in blue, silver and white colours.
