Today are my latest lace pieces.

Lavender mix (3 sewing cottons and Purple thin cotton.) Orange Vari Perle no:8, Copper Perle No: 8.

Its just a matter of following the pattern and remembering which bobbin go in and out of the bits in it.

They are not too bad, not the best but better than first 4, my recent green one went the best and I think I got the tension right on that, and didn't make a mistake. I hope today's mixed lace goes as well.

I failed with the paper bobbins but I suspect it was cause I'm too used to the wooden ones, shame because they held the thread nicely. But by pulling the thread not the bobbin for tension, I lessen the unravelling from my mixed thread lace. I converted back to wooden bobbins and yesterday's 1st repeat of pattern went perfect. So in the end all went well.

Yeah it surprised me that I picked it up as quickly as i did this time round often I fair on my retried stuff.
