Its in a sparkle black and plain White, Looks quite 3d says my Husband, would be too much as a jumper. Might make a hat or scarf though. A bit Xmasy.

This is in blue, grey and purple and I think it  looks a bit like tweed.

a repeat of blue one I did in first row. Its amazing how different they look in different colours.

Have converted to a shawl. I used my 2 green 4plys again in this with a medium green.

I used oatmeal and pink, this looks like a very complicated looking square but done the same way as the others.

This pattern I think would make a great Pompom hat or an Xmas stocking it feels very Xmas.

I like the way the Orange and Grey fit together. It really contrasts.

Because the one in brown and yellow clashed with the centre square pattern.

I used Royal Blue and 2 strands of 4ply a red and a pink. Its amazing how different they look with just a colour change.

This is the same pattern as a swatch I did, but in slightly different colours. Black, White and Orange.

Today is 2nd 6” square of my Scarf with Collar.

I think this is a very pretty pattern and the two colours just pop together.

but finished off for my next scarf Shawl with collar the first of 36 I’ll need. I used 2 strands of black DK to crochet round it. This will make the edges nice and even and link up all the different patterned squares. I’ll do the collar in black too.

Today is a close up of my Shawl in Brick Wall Stitch.

Its a bit folded as it was on the table in front of me, when I finish it I'll get John to take a picture of me wearing it. Doing well should finish 13” of 68” today.

Today is my finished Knitting Caddy in Aster Stitch.

This is the lining a cut down plastic bottle. Ignore the bead holder inside it. I used it to weigh it down just for the photo.

Today is some knitting practice

My first go at a colour slip stitch pattern, Aster Flower stitch. After 2 false starts I managed it fairly easily, I found the vid to do it on You Tube. My first false start was forgetting how to cast on after 2 years of not knitting I did worry I might be rusty. 2nd false start was using wrong colour on 2nd row. But finally managed it. I'm gonna make a new needle caddy for my first go probably in fairisle and using the bottom of my large water bottle to line the bottom.

Today is 3rd Bug ATC.

I know its similar to the others but I wanted to use these big beads first before I went mad on other back patterns., Next one will be completely different. I did make this one with an ant type thorax. No back done yet as I ran out of time so next ones won't have fancy back but just the words as the others have.

This reminds me of aztec stuff. It was a mask I made a while ago that I badged (ie made into a badge later on after I made it) I like the way the beads made a headress on it. This is my favourate badge so far I think.
