Feeling Cold

Its cold in here today as Hub is putting up a new light by the front door and has it open to plug in the drill, We did have a Solar one but there hasn't been enough sunlight to keep it powered up, so he's bought a nice lantern one that plugs in so he has had to drill the screw holes. Why do they do such things on the coldest day we've had in a while. Its like it has to be done now. He had the other one for a year before he put it up but only got this one a few days ago.

Feeling like Xmas

I'm feeling all Christmasy today spent the afternoon watching Miracle on 34th Street the 1994 copy with Richard Attenborough in it was great I love Christmas Films they are the smile through the tears kind of thing, anyway it got me well into the Christmas mood.

Today

Today we went to the garden centre and bought some more Xmas food - Not that we really needed more of it got enough for an army already but I'm a deep pit to fill and really need the sugar Mice they had as I always have some at Xmas and it does stop me making loads of them with a recipe I have, I only got three if I make them it would be many more which I would eat as Husband don't like them. We also got a new Plant a cyclamen in a very unusual shading it was the only one they had of it and at 6.99 it was worth it. Its huge too.

Just another cold day here, I did find my sewing machine box with the embroidery cams in it this morning plus the instruction book its been so long since I played with it that I've forgotten where all the threads go on it. I must get hub to sort it out for me so its all oiled and dust free so I can use it again, got a quilt book coming for Xmas from son. So need it up and running for the new year.
