Two more Dolls

My knitted doll of the Actor Richard Bradford in the role of Mcgill in Man in a Suitcase. I added the patch to his suitcase to show the wear as I couldn't do the faded colour of original. I  did his short brown jacket in felt. I knitted him in beige trousers and red top I like him in best.

Next is my Bat Fairy in her striped stockings. She has felt dress and green batwings that are covered with her long hair. She has a sparkly purple wand with a silver star at the top.

Thank you. I only learnt to knit by hand recently, I used to be a crochet girl but I had a mild stroke 6 years ago and it destroyed my ability to crochet as well as I could before so tried knitting and found I could do it. Now I love it as much.

Its based on a hair pattern by Jean Greenhow for her Dumpling dolls book with my dolls are based on too just smaller than hers.Jean has a web site with free patterns on it, its worth a look. She is a faboulous knitter.
